Dr. Steven V. Dau grew up in South Tampa, near MacDill Air Force Base, where he attended Robinson High School. Dr. Dau received his B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Natural Chemistry at the University of South Florida. Dr. Dau received his dental degree (DMD) at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Immediately following graduation, he attended Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental education, where he completed his residency, earning a Master of Science in Orthodontics.

Dr. Dau strives to keep current with the latest advances in orthodontic treatment by continually pursuing orthodontic seminars and courses. He is committed to giving you the most advanced treatment while maintaining the fundamental orthodontic concepts.

Dr. Dau utilizes materials and techniques that are on the cutting edge of orthodontic treatment for his patients. They include titanium memory wires, ceramic braces, Invisalign braces, indirect bonding, digital x-ray, digital photography, digital treatment forecast, and the most up-to-date sterilization techniques.

Dr. Dau is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, and the Hillsborough County Dental Association. Dr. Dau is committed to be an active member in the community. He has given time to various dental missionaries and charitably events. Dr. Dau has completed two missionary trips to Haiti to provide free dental care as well as volunteering for various groups such as the Boys and Girls Club and the "Give Kids a Smile" program to help improve dental care to children nation wide.
